This landscape painting of a waterfall is also a portrait of a Scotch Highland cow. When I was a child we had a herd of them. I was inspired by the Celtic shamans donning a bull hide and sleeping beneath a waterfall. This image of a cow’s spirit inhabiting the falls came to mind. It is a dual image that invokes both a sacred place and a connection to family.
